Duck and Chick.

Birthday cupcake order. The request was for a duck and a chick (nicknames between the gifter and the birthday girl) and the rest was pretty much up to me. Lemon cupcakes with lemon cream cheese frosting that I decorated with balloons, a present, and gift bag. Click any of the photo to enlarge.

Birthday treats.

So many birthdays equals so many cupcakes. Unfortunately, I was away for a good part of the summer so I missed out on a bunch of birthdays, but I was here for August which is a month full of some of my favourite peoples celebratory days.

First up, Mister Dirty Dale. Best hug-giver in the world. Lemon cupcakes with lemon cream cheese frosting decorated with his name and DJ logo.

Next, roomie and one of my best.. Roots! This was a collaborative effort with Melly Mel. Same lemon cupcakes with a summer theme.

Last, but not least, Melly Mel's domo and ice cream cone cupcakes.

Hi, it's been awhile...

Sorry for being so MIA the last 6 months! Life has been a little hectic with moving, exams, graduating, vacationing... but don't fret, I am still in business and pushing out dericious orders when life permits (just haven't had time to post them) :) So enjoy the spamming of random cupcakes I've made since my last update...

My latest cupcake order for some snowboarding themed cupcakes. Like the title says, chocolate peanut butter cupcakes with cream cheese frosting.

Dericious Burgers.

When I first came across these burger cupcakes last summer, I immediately thought of D&D, two of my loveliest friends, who are known for their insatiable appetites. (Where it all goes? Nobody knows.) I've been saving these cupcake designs for their big day, but unfortunately I was in Ottawa and missed the festivities. Now that I'm back, the burgers are coming fresh out of the oven.
Buns were made with french vanilla, white chocolate chip cupcakes and sandwich a double chocolate chip cupcake. Dericious burgers are dressed with cream cheese frosting tomatoes and lettuce, and a slice of fondant cheese. Bon appetit!

I'm baaaaack.

Two months as an Ottawa tourist meant not so many cupcakes, but lots of shawarma, poutine, restaurant hopping, beavertails and my poor skating skills displayed on the Rideau Canal. As much as I enjoyed my time in O-town, I missed Toronto SO much.
Now I've been back one week and the orders are already rolling in!
First up.. Boj's birthday cupcakes. My first try at french vanilla, white chocolate chip cupcakes... success!!

Sorry for not updating in SO long! It's been a crazy busy time of year with the holidays and getting myself set up for placement. I'll be situated in Ottawa until the end of February, which means no dericious cupcakes for a liiiittle while :( I'll be back soon in full force!
